What location will we shoot at?
Together, we will decide on the best location for your photos. I typically do photos outdoors at a forest preserve, beach, or park. We can shoot in your home as long as your home has adequate natural light. You should choose a location that fits your style and personality. I will help you along with this decision. 

What time are the sessions?
If we are shooting outdoors, we will meet about 1.5 hrs before sunset. The light is typically too harsh mid-day and I LOVE taking photos during golden hour. If we are shooting in your home, I prefer mid-morning, because that is when homes are usually lit up with the best natural light.

How long is the session, typically?
The good news is, I try to be super-fast!  My goal is to have a family session last no more than an hour. Don't worry, I can easily get a diverse and adequate gallery in that time.  

When will we get our photos?
I have a three-week turnaround time. When your photos are ready, you will receive a private email with a link to your gallery where you can download all of your high-resolution photos.

What should we wear?
Wardrobe should be comfortable and reflect who you are. I do not recommend matching but rather coordinating.

What props should we bring?
I do not use props during my sessions, however if you have something in mind please let me know. I encourage my families to bring a blanket, as we will sit on the ground. 

Can I bring my dog?
Yes! I love including all family members, even the 4-legged ones. All I ask is that you bring a helper to hold on to your puppies while we take other photos.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early and be ready to start on time:
Remember, your session is scheduled according to light. It is important that we start on time.  Please plan for traffic or parking constraints.
